Bookkeeping details →Indianapolis, Indiana · Established 2014
Crossroads Ledger LLC is a small, hands-on accounting practice on Sixth Avenue in Indianapolis. We keep the books, run payroll and file the returns for contractors, restaurants, clinics, e-commerce sellers and professional service firms across Marion County — so owners can stop guessing what their numbers say.
What we do
Pick one, or hand us the lot. Everything below is delivered by the same two-person team you speak to on the phone — nothing is outsourced overseas.

Set-up details →Why owners switch to us
Most firms hand you a portal and a junior you never meet. Here you work directly with David Jones, who owns the practice, and with our senior bookkeeper. We answer the phone during office hours, and email inside one business day.

How it works
No long forms, no implementation fee. Here is exactly what happens after you get in touch.
A 30-minute call or office visit. We look at your current file, your volume and your deadlines, and tell you what shape the books are in.
You receive a fixed monthly price and a scope letter within two business days. Nothing is signed until you are happy with both.
We connect bank feeds, tidy the chart of accounts, import history and agree the documents you will send us each month.
You send documents, we close the month, you receive the pack and a short summary of what changed and what to watch.
Client feedback
Reviews collected from clients who agreed to be quoted by name. Full references available on request.
“We were nine months behind and terrified of the letter from the state. David rebuilt two years of books in six weeks and now we close on the eighth of every month.”
“Payroll for eleven staff used to eat my Sunday. Now I approve hours on Friday and it is done. The county withholding alone was worth the fee.”
“What I appreciate most is being told the truth. When our margin slipped they called me before I noticed it in the bank balance.”

Service area
Our office sits on Sixth Avenue in the 46218 ZIP code, a short drive from Monument Circle. Around two thirds of our clients are within Marion County; the rest are spread across Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson and Boone counties, plus a handful in Fort Wayne and Bloomington who work with us entirely online.
Because we file Indiana returns every week, we stay current on county income tax rates, INTIME filing changes and Department of Workforce Development requirements — details out-of-state providers routinely miss.
From our desk
Short, useful articles we write when the same question comes up three times in a month.
Eleven steps we run for every client between the first and the tenth of the month.
How the state and the IRS look at worker classification, and what misclassifying costs.
Registration, filing frequency, exemption certificates and the mistakes we correct most often.
Book a free 30-minute review of your books. We will tell you honestly what needs fixing, what it will cost and how long it will take — no obligation, no sales script.
